Made a batch of Sherm’s Mega Muffins this weekend. Haven’t tried MR’s recipie yet, but I think that I will for the next batch. Besides being a lot of work, the regular recipie seems a tad on the pricey side to get all the ingredients. Especially with the 2 cups of dried blueberries. Yummy though. They take a lot of work to make, but it is fun for the same reason. They have about nintey thousand ingredients, so the shopping trip is half the work.

Made an omlette for dinner using dried cottage cheese curds instead of cheddar. It was really good! I think I’ll be making that one more often, as it’s so high in protein.

One of the megamuffin ingredients is an Avacado. Naturally I had to jab toothpicks in the seed and try and get it rooting. I had an avacado plant when I was a kid that grew pretty good. I didn’t prune it properly and it grew all crazy and unweildy. I did some googling on the subject and I think I can do better this time.

    Yea megamuffins!!!

    I miss them so much.

I really need to drag myself to the health food store to buy ingredients.
