The Pulsatilla Pass

Part way up the pass, looking back towards the valley where we camped (beyond the forest, by the foot of the mountain on the left).

Still climbing the pass. Phew, I'm tired.

At the very top of the pass, we came across a mother ptarmigan and its five little chicks.
